Emerald Design Custom Homes was born out of a conviction that home building had lost its personal touch. Too many builders were offering the same floor plans, the same finishes, the same experience — just with a different name on the sign.
Our founders set out to do something different: to sit across the table from each client, understand what made their family unique, and build a home that only they could live in.
That founding philosophy remains unchanged today. We still take on a limited number of homes each year. We still believe quality cannot be rushed. And we still personally oversee every step of the process.
Over two decades, Emerald Design has grown — in reputation, in capability, and in the depth of expertise we bring to every project. We've added award-winning designers, seasoned architects, and project managers who share our commitment to excellence.
We've also grown the communities we build in, most recently developing Emerald Ridge — a thoughtfully planned enclave where the land, the infrastructure, and the surrounding environment were chosen with the same care we put into every home.
But we haven't grown for growth's sake. Every addition to our team, every new community, every new floor plan starts with the same question: does this make us better for our clients?
